Hello! I hear that one must be careful with the quantities of Gotu Kola, but i love cooked greens! how many leaves would u recommend and is it okay to eat everyday?
@MsTAMILIAN Жыл бұрын
@@aring.6307 I never heard that. You need to wash thoroughly, other than that eat as much as you like. Moderation is the key in anything. Eat everyday, no harm done.

It varies per person. I would not eat or drink the same of anything everyday because it’s more important to have diversity in one’s diet so you have a broader spectrum of nutrients. Best way to do it is to go slow to see how you feel, and to check in with your medical doctor.

Why does it look so different from the pennywort I see growing everywhere in Florida? The leaves are normally very waxy looking, very glossy and circular in appearance. The plant likes to grow in areas prone to water logging and it can become rampant if conditions are favorable.

@wendiland6 жыл бұрын
Can’t see which herb you are referring to, but could it be the Gotu kola? It is an herb to boost memory, calms the mind to help with concentration. That’s what research shows. Personally I feel calmer when drinking it. As for boosting memory would not be an instant thing so it’s hard to tell unless you eat it regularly for a long period than take it away to see. However, I do believe that most herbs and vegetables have some kind of benefit for our overall health. Good luck on your studies!
@Brockt873 жыл бұрын
@@wendiland anything natural that calms the mind especially if it helps w anxiety, usually has been shown to increase memory test & even IQ scores when researchers test people’s average scores compared to placebo groups. Scientists usually say its probably not due to technically making the person “smarter” but putting them in a more ideal calm focused state where memory & brain function are at their best. This alone has been pretty profound, I’ve heard anywhere from 4 IQ points w specific pharmaceuticals to 12 points w some of the better natural methods like in the case of specific CES frequencies ,& specific TDCS montages has been proven to double learning speeds of pilots & other military training it’s been Since Gotu Kola helps not only w stress but neurological issues as well, it’s likely one of the better options to try out for boosting mental performance. On paper it should work quite well, but there’s only one way to find out😉 Think gotu Kola probably has plenty of untapped potential. I generally feel less stressed, perform better at work& sleep better using it, & just those factors, along w many others experiences, suggest it likely helps out significantly w cognitive function :)
