I just made them. I am Seventy year old man who likes to make good tasting stuff. I have a pack my daughter gave me but they were so expensive I knew I had to have an alternate way to have Aussie Bites. They are cooling right now. I'll let you know how they taste!!

I just had my first Aussie bite a few weeks ago. I was babysitting a child and his mom gave him some for a snack, I saw the package and was amazed at all the healthy ingredients. I had to try one I couldn't believe how good they were. she had gotten them from a grocery store, i looked them up and couldn't believe how much they cost. I was hoping to find a recipe so I could make them homeade. these look amazing!

The Stay at Home Chef didn’t name them. They’re already called Aussie Bites and they recreated the recipe for our benefit. Go find the person who originally made them and ask them why they named them Aussie Bites!

@@sittingdoeSeems like you are the one being angry and toxic- writing personal remarks about total strangers on the internet. Hope you get help 😂. @@ThestayathomechefOh I don’t know- you making up lies about ‘national foods’ from other countries which aren’t your own for internet revenue sounds like a pretty good reason. It’s like, you know, disrespecting other countries for cash so yeah- you’re out of line. If you put videos like this on the internet then you only have yourself to blame.

People should give credit to whoever made it first copycat version. How come everyone came up with exact same measurements with just some variations of the ingredients. So there are copycats of copycats.🤔🤔 feel bad for the original baker.
@Thestayathomechef

I can’t speak for any other recipe creators, but when making a copycat recipe, you generally purchase the original and look at the ingredient list. The ingredients are listed in the order of volume from largest to smallest. True copycat recipes should have the same list of ingredients as the original, or as close as possible, with variations in the amounts based on educated guesses.

@@fazkb5127Actually national pride is quite positive and appropriate. People who slur other countries with fake national foods (or people condone the slurs like you) are the negative ones. It would be more positive to focus on respecting rather than your stomach.

Oh, and by the way you don't police KZbin- I'm free to watch whatever I like (regardless of whether or not it makes you feel uncomfortable). It's really your own fault that you feel guilty about your behaviour. Put false info about another culture's food on KZbin and you'd better expect to get called on it.

Huh?? I never said anything about me actually. I said you and your channel are misrepresenting Australian food and culture - which you are. Rather than trying to gloss it over or minimise it - try owning it. I sincerely hope you show basic cultural awareness next time before you put false 'Aussie' recipes on an international video platform.

Sweetie, apparently you have good taste, as you were attracted to this recipe! However, if I may, with all due respect, suggest that you take life a tinsy bit less seriously. It's truly bad for your digestion. (and I'm not a doctor!). This is just a NAME - this particular baker, I'm absolutely sure, means no disrespect to any culture or peoples! She/he is just BAKING a copycat recipe, didn't even name the darn things!:) Lighten up a bit, will ya?:) And great health to you!
