It must have been the holidays (and getting used to a tablet) that I missed this. No wonder I goofed my g milk soap yest. Looks like it turned out but LOVEthe pale color when the milk doesn't burn. So pretty! This is such a quick recipe too. IN-credible. Will be making more tomorrow!! Gotta scoot and go buy me some more stuff.

I just finished watching several of you Hot process goats milk soap videos. I love them! Thanks for making us beginner soap makers feel comfortable to ask questions.Can I substitute veggie Crisco for the Lard in your recipes? How do you know when your soap is done? Do you zap test or PH strip test? Can I use the Glycerin found in drug stores in the soap? What type should I look for? Thanks for your time and help. I get my best swirling when I mix a section to be a color right in the crockpot then swirl it a little then mold it. I have used up to three colors in one pot. Just pick a section and color I don't use a separator be I know others that do. Don't over mix in pot it will swirl more while you are molding.
