I’m so happy this video found it’s intended audience, thank you Brian! Once you’ve watched it let me know if you have any questions or if you’d like to see a part 2 to this where I go through processing and effects

I’ve picked up some very worthwhile knowledge watching your videos over the last couple of days from learning many keyboard shortcuts for a quicker workflow in Ableton to this tutorial on the Push. Thanks 👍

More Push content will definitely be coming in 2025. First I will make some more regular Ableton Live tutorials so everyone’s happy :)

Nice one Graish! Enjoyed see the workflow kept entirely away from the box, especially using the step sequencer with the Amen. I bought the Push 1 when it first came out - even with that early version I loved keeping things away from the computer. Big up!

@@djgraish Honestly, this video is pure gold, the drum rack tip is chefs kiss. Slight delay on audio matching video but it doesn't matter to the delivery of the content. Top work and looking forward to more push content! Thank you

Using the Akai APC64 myself but all this info is priceless, thanks for the great video!

I saw that controller recently, it looks amazing. I had the APC20 back in the day, they’re the best for launching clips and playing live in the session view :)

@@djgraish Also budget friendly as I am just starting in the jungle/DnB game (or trying to make something musically in general I should say!) And indeed it is great for clips but also for doodling around with VST and chords in arrangement mode.

Love this, gonna try on Push 3. Would love to see how you would build this into a performance
@djgraish29 күн бұрын
Yes mate, let me know how you get on following these steps on push 3! I will almost certainly be making part 2 where I turn it into a full performance!
@hakeemadam95529 күн бұрын
@@djgraish it worked perfect. I have been trying to do this for year! I guess it does not make sense to save the drum rack unless I work in the same tempo all the time?

Amazing, I’m so glad I could help you on your way to making Jungle on the Push! BTW if you followed the step where I pressed “warp as 2 bars” before slicing, I think the slices will all be individually warped too so you could reuse that drum rack at a different tempo
