I must confess that I was getting a little nervous over how you were going to create that “solid” connection to the stone stairs and also keep the surface of the floating island perfectly level. I don’t know how you made it all come together perfectly, but you did! I really love the effect of the washes. Do you apply a “surfactant” to the homemade washes, like a drop of Jetdry or dishwasher detergent?
