My grandmother use to always fix stovetop meatloaf like this. Only thing is she would have bigger chopped pieces of the onion and bell pepper, and would let them swim in the sauce so they would get the flavoring of the onion and bell pepper as it cooked, but not have it in the actual loaf; as everybody did not like the onion and bell pepper in their loaf. Mashed potatoes on the side, and the gravy from the cooked tomatoe sauce on the potatoes. You bringing back memories Ma’am...! Good stuff...! Be blessed...! Thanks for sharing...

Girl! That's how I make my meatloaf! For decades! When my sons (now in their late 30s) come home for dinner, this is one of the few recipes that they request. The only difference between yours and mine is the topping. I use a family size can of tomato soup. Just scoop it out of the can and put it on the meat loafettes. I hope everyone with a family (or just wants some down home flavor) tries your recipe. It may just become a legacy recipe for their family, too! Thanks for making this video.

I make 2 meatloaves at a time. One large one for people, and a small one ( plain, less seasonings) for my dog and cat. And they both know that when I make meatloaf, one is for them. I would go in to the kitchen, and there they would be - dog and cat, sitting hip to hip, watching the meatloaf cook. Soooo Cute.

Would like to mix in tomato soup and tomato paste too I add in 1/3rd box of stove top, W-sauce, rotel, chili sauce, large-ish onion chunks, garlic, dash of white pepper, ground peppercorns, soy sauce, peas, corn, bell peppers Of course not always at the same time Frying in bacon grease would be good for extra taste If you got real lean meat adding some bacon grease will add juicieness and flavor

I don't know what I did wrong, but it all crumbled up and then I had to serve on buns like a Sloppy Joes sandwich. I was so disappointed. 😔 Wish my oven was working so I could bake this traditionally. boohoo

I’m so sorry about that…Depending on the type of ground beef you’re using can be the problem or how long you cooked them before turning them over. Make sure they cook until they are firm before turning them over or then next time add a couple of eggs to keep them together. I’m guessing what could have went wrong. Don’t give up try…try…again 😊
