Hi Henry!! Thanks so much for much for making this for us the other day :) will try my best to recreate it. Would you be able to let me know where you get the saffron juice? Is it saffron threads soaked in water? And do you know where I can find some of these ingredients near Castle Hill? Thanks so much :) please keep sharing. I made the Egyptian Lentil soup the other day and it was devine

Hey Henry, may I ask what is the white sauce called? And did you make the saffron dressing yourself? I had this last night at restaurant in Merrylands it was nice. Thanks

The white sauce is Kashk, basically dried yoghurt. Yes I make my own saffron water

where I live, they don't sell reshteh. how can I make my own reshteh from scratch?

its a little complex to make in small batches without the machinery, basically they are thick salty noodles so you could possibly subsitute for thick spaghetti to get a similar flavour

you can use 'fettuccini' noodles

you can also use japanese noodles..they are a little thicker, but pretty close in taste

how do I make the liquid saffron? is it saffron strands soaked in water?
