Absolutely gorgeous flowers .I agree with you about the pricing,you definitely deserve more but it's what people can afford. Great video as always.I can't wait for spring!!

Thank you. I am happy with the price, the bouquets actually look bigger than they really are and because they are quick to cut and make it’s not costing me too much time. I think it pays off in other ways too, for example people have taken all my business cards that were at the bakery so hopefully I become the go-to florist in the area.

Your bouquets are worth more than $20. They're really professional looking and colourful. Do you think they'd still sell for $30? The ones outside my shopping mall are truly pathetic and they want a ridiculous $30 for hardly any flowers and no foliage. They are hardly worth a look compared to your artistic bunches. Jo.😊

Lovely to see your cows....Do you still ride ? I lost my elderly horses last year so am getting used to being "retired." 😢 Great to see some sun and gorgeous flowers...We are -6 this morning in Scotland....😊

Hi Susan in Scotland!! Happy New Year to you. The horse is my husband’s, and neither of us have the time, although as I have lower back and hip issues I’m very hesitant to get on a horse anymore. As I say “I’m not made of rubber bands and magic anymore!” -6, that’s 🥶

Hi Amber! Beautiful bouquets! So colourful & cheerful. Your wrapping looks good too and is nice and quick. Do you loose much of the purchase price in store commission? I have just started selling from a store and the commission is 25%.
@bloomsonthehill62073 күн бұрын
Hi, thank you. I’m pleased with my wrapping too, efficient, neat and looks good in store. I pay $10 a week ‘rent’ at the bakery, no commission. At Mirboo North I pay the same in rent plus 10% commission and have to work in the store a day a month (no wages)

The bouquets are lovely but I counted 29 stems and you’re selling for $20? That’s only 50 cents a stem. With labor I don’t know how they are profitable. Maybe the market is very different in Australia?
@bloomsonthehill62073 күн бұрын
They sell, any dearer and they don’t. I had them in store for $30 and they didn’t move unfortunately. Also a lot of the current material is quite small, like the scabiosa, so if I reduce stems it looks pathetic!! 😂 Once the large dahlias come I will reduce the stem count and therefore the amount of stems sold cheapish over the season will balance out! Thanks for your input!
