Another bump for your channel, dear ❤ I'm not a big sourdough fan, but I learned a couple of related recipes during the 'big shutdown' when my yeast started to run low. One was my great grandmother's salt rising bread which we didn't care for. The other was kind of a sponge, but nor really sourdough.

So I just pulled mine out of the oven! Looks awesome, smells even better. So hard to wait for it to cool! I did put honey in mine so ended up using all four cups of flour. My house was a steady 79 degrees... hot day but wanted open windows to enjoy :) So mine took a four hour rise before I baked..looks perfect! Thank you!!!

Your channel was on my feed because I've been wracking my brain on why my sourdough sandwich bread didn't do so well. I'm not even going to tell you how bad it was. I don't think anybody has baked as bad as I did. Thank you for your channel. I see you also have sauerkraut! Yumm! I'm part German and my German grandma taught gave me her grandmother's recipe! But I also like to see other types of recipes.

Mary🙏🥰 I’ve been using a Dutch oven & they’re beautiful but sometimes I don’t want a “crusty” loaf. I take it out of the frig & put my sourdough in a loaf pan. I take another loaf pan put it on top & use a bullnose clip to hold them together. May be a cool video to try😁😘

Hello Mary, I’ve just watched your video about the loss of your channel and wanted to say I am so sorry that this has happened to you, I can only imagine the devastation you must have felt when it all just disappeared. It was only when I was trying to find you in my subscriber list that I realised you weren’t there.
