For as long as humans have been cooking food over fire, bone broth-the simmering stock of bones from fish, beef, chicken, turkey and other animals that are typically discarded-has been a daily part of life. And it's celebrated by cultures around the world.
Bone broths may be the “hottest trend in health” today, even though it is centuries old. In fact, just about every culture throughout history has used a form of bone broth. Give this sipping broth a try today!

Can you tell me if this will help my day and night acid reflux... Also after a bowel movement..
@vickieturner8688
@vickieturner8688 5 жыл бұрын
It looks like you need an acidic stomach. Just put 1-2 Tablespoons of raw, unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar (Bragg's brand) in a glass, add water and some Stevia if you want and drink it before each meal. I put ice in my drink, as it keeps me from coughing from the pungent smell of the vinegar. Most people with acid reflux DON'T have too much acid, but not enough to break down their food or get the nutrients from the food. Bloating and gas are extremely common symptoms.

Ali Bate, If you've ever taken an antibiotic your discomfort may be because you don't have enough good bugs in your gut and too many of the other bugs. In that case you will need to replenish your good bugs with a good probiotic. You might also have SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth), where the bugs are in the wrong place. You may have what is called leaky gut. Do a search of Dr. Axe's videos and see what you can find out. Try to match your symptoms with what he says. It could also be a combination of things. I pray that you find an answer your issues. Blessings!

Godz Daughterh, Hello! Have you evaluated your diet? I've kept a log/diary for over a year, that maps my efforts to regain my health. I've learned much by paying attention to what, how much I eat and how I feel, which helps to make adjustments. Stress was a huge issue for me. I would suggest that you log, too. Please research those things that I suggested to Ali Bate in my last comment and compare your symptoms to those listed. Each of our body systems are different. Our bodies are designed for all parts to work together as a whole. Search the videos/articles by www.DrAxe.com, which has the most extensive information on leaky gut. www.DrBerg.com/resources has over 3500 videos on his version of the Keto Diet and intermittent fasting. Besides what I suggested that Ali Bate look into, consider food and environmental allergies. Gluten sensitivity all the way to Hashimoto's Disease has become a huge problem for many. I'm sensitive to gluten and completely avoid it. My Granddaughter has Hashimoto's, but she's decided not to follow my advice. Dr. Peter Osborne, founder of www.GlutenFreeSociety.org is considered one of the most knowledgeable people on gluten issues. Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby has written a fascinating book called "Diet Wise", that teaches how to determine your own food allergies at home. The standard allergy testing and medication has often been found NOT to be accurate or helpful. We want to be healed, not on medication for life. I don't know if I've been any help to you at all. I've tried to offer resources to do your own research to determine what is causing your issues. I will say that food should be our first consideration. God gave us all of the plants and animals to keep us healthy. Unfortunately, man started messing with these perfect things, which is why we are in the shape we are. Just my opinion, but we should ditch all processed foods and eat REAL food. I pray that you find your answers. God's blessings to you!

Is bone broth dangerous to drink because of lead in the bones?
@drjoshaxe
@drjoshaxe 4 жыл бұрын
Most conventional bones have high levels of lead. However, grass-fed and pasture finished animal sources won't have high levels of heavy metals in their bones. Plus, we at Ancient Nutrition had our product tested for heavy metals. Check out the results for yourself here: store.draxe.com/pages/the-bone-broth-protein-quality-story?

Wonder how much money he makes from endorsing these processed products. A whole organic chicken is much better to use and you can freeze several portions of the soup you make for later use. Money is always the bottom line, right Joshy boy?

Not that I disagree. But these products are obviously for people who do not have the time. Or even for newbies, who may still be new to eating healthy, and want a slightly easier transition. I have a genetic condition that makes things difficult for me on a daily basis. I also have a 3-year-old to take care of. The last thing I want to do is simmer a chicken for 24 hours, have to clean up the dishes afterwards, and portion out each individual serving. Which would be taking away quite a bit of my glass Tupperware. 100% whole organic chicken, fresh made is best. BUT this is awesome when life is too hectic to be a mom from the 1950s.
