We have these flour coconut ball things called Dango. We got it from the Japanese when they were on our islands. We make it different but the origin is Japanese.

Love the haircut. Looking good. Since you are a chef, maybe you could show us how to prepare our own sauces that are likely to be difficult to find in our own countries. I would recommend using a different color bowl next time, as it was difficult to see the consistency of the mix in this big. My only other suggestion is to start the video by describing what you're cooking. Some of your audience may be unfamiliar with Japanese cuisine. Great video composition (especially the speed ups). Love how authentic you are. Love your stuff. Keep up the good work!

Is this how all Takoyaki is made? O: What a lot of work! Shaping the balls is like an art. There's no Japanese restaurants around where we are, and I miss Takoyaki the most. I have little faith I could make them myself, but maybe if I get desperate enough I'll return to this video and try.

There is a ramen shop near me that makes good Takoyaki, and Katsu Don, and I always have to have a nice ice cold Asahi, or Kirin when I have Takoyaki.

Most important Japanese phrase is "watashi biru". As for your device, hot plate or griddle. A griddle is for direct cooking without a pan/pot.
