How to make The BEST Creamy Cheesy Potatoes Casserole Recipe, DINNER On a Budget!

Happy Cheesy potato Casserole making!! 😋
Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 45 to 50 minutes
Ingredients
10 to 12 potatoes
1 1/2 tbsp Ap flour
2 Tbsp butter
2 cups of milk
1 tbsp chicken bouillon or 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups of cheese
2 tbsp oil
Tip❗️
Use white Vermont cheddar in the béchamel sauce if possible
If you don’t microwave potatoes your bake time will be around 1 hr 10 mins, since the potatoes are cut thick : )

I've never cut myself USING a mandolin, but I damn near cut my finger off, washing it. I didn't have a dishwasher, so I was washing it by hand. 100% my fault, but I "sharpened" my knife skills (pun intended) after that, and retired the mandolin.

Steph, I was making breakfast for dinner tonight, and your video popped up. I didn't have Vermont Cheddar, but I did have Vermont Goat cheese. I put that in my beschemel and sharp cheddar on top. Instead of bacon chips sprinkled, I had sausage patties and side of cheesy scrambled eggs. It was so yummy, my hubby actually said it was good. He never compliments my cooking, so that was a Michelin Star to me. Lol

Mmmm looks delicious. One question.... mozzarella or Vermont cheddar? The beginning video shows mozzarella cheese... Or is it Vermont cheddar for the sauce and mozzarella for the top along with yellow cheddar?

Good question! You can use mozzarella for the whole recipe, but if you find Vermont cheddar I suggest go with that for the sauce portion and mozzarella for the topping 💕 Steph
