Thanks so much! My brit husband has been suffering for years as Tiger bread is rare to find in bakeries where we live now, as I have finally levelled up past the breadmaker doing all the work(though I still use it for most of the first mixing/kneading cause my hands are terrible) I have launched into all kinds of other breads. This video has also taught me a lot of tricks that most modern cookbooks don't have good descriptions of in writing in regards to dough consistencies. Before this I was only familiar with pizza dough in how it should look and feel and that knowledge is about 30 years old (teenage job).

Bincy, hi. I’ve been making your recipes for a while now and i wanted to thank you for really making my life easier! I live in india and I’ve always had trouble with proofing times and rising times because of the temperature of my kitchen. Most of the other baking channels are from much cooler climates or from centrally air conditioned countries and their timings do not really work here. So thank you so much. Finally I wanted to know if this ‘Tiger bread’ method can be used for whole wheat breads as well? If there is a difference what would it be? Thanks again Bobby

How long does the bread last before going stale or mouldy ? Supermarkets seems to cram their bread with tons of crap yet they still only last about 1.5 weeks if you’re lucky...

Dear Bincy...I can't thank you enough for this recipe ❤️.. It turned out soooo good .. had to make it twice in a day .. My kids loved it !! I have 2 questions though.. 1. After I apply the rice paste, do I need to cover it with cling film? I did that but when I lifted it off before baking some of the rice paste came off with the film.. how do I fix this? 2. Usually once the bread is baked I smear some butter on it and immediately cover it with a kitchen napkin until it's completely cooled. Should I do the same with this bread? I did it and lost the crunchiness of the rice paste.. plz help !! Thanks so much
@bincychris4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sabeena,I am so happy to hear you made this bread and they turned out good. 1) I covered it with cling film .And to prevent it from sticking,I smeared oil on it.(as shown in the video) 2) We don't need to smear the top of this bread with butter as butter will soften the crust and it will lose it's crispiness. And we don't need to cover the freshly baked tiger bread with kitchen towel as well because the steam entrapped will be absorbed by the crust and it will loose its crispiness. Hope this helps.
@francisnicholas69723 жыл бұрын
Dear Bincy have we to finish the entire paste.
@bincychris3 жыл бұрын
Hi Francis,Its not necessary.But the rice flour paste recipe or quantity in this recipe is made in such a way that we can have enough to smear on top and don't have any balance to waste :)
