As a very small boy, I remember our next door neighbour growing tobacco in long polly tunnels then drying the leaves on long wires but what happened next I've no idea and that was in the UK.

I'm growing some in UK this year... some of the leaves are 2ft long and 1ft wide. I would recommend growing it even if you don't smoke; the plants are truly magnificent and satisfying.
