+Maia D Its difficult to make that as cupcake. I think that you can make Magic cake with pot(15~18cm) which you can put in the oven. Don't forget to line with parchment paper. Actually i used pot in this video:-)
Hello, and thank you for sharing this recipe! I really enjoyed all of the sounds of baking. I tried making this the other day and it looked great but I got a strong egg taste. I used more than a tsp of vanilla (yum, vanilla!). Should I try baking it longer next time to get rid of that eggy taste? The top of my cake wasn't as dark brown as yours was.

+MegaToxicMuffins Simply you need to add to vanilla,If you dont like eggy taste. Raise 10~20℃ the temperature of an oven to let it brown.

Ivy Porcel if you let it cool and then stick it in the fridge for about 3 hours the layers are more distinguishable. Super late response. Sorry.

because only the top has the meringue which makes it spongy, meanwhile the bottom part will be fudgy. to get this you need to not overmix (until just combined)

Try to substitute a table spoon of flour with a tablespoon of cacoa powder, maybe that works
