How to make your back cushions look like new!

Most people do not realize there is a special foam designed for the back cushions of your couch or chair! It is called super soft foam and it is by far better than traditional fill used by the manufacturer! Your cushion can look brand new again!

Hi Scott, I’m looking for a high end second hand sofa so of course the ones I see have the saggy cushions. How do you re fill the sofas where the cushions do not come off the sofa and no zipper to open them? Or do they all come off? Some of the ones I look at online seem to look attached to the sofa.

Just decided to redo my dining room chairs (thanks hobby lobby). I scrolled threw your videos and I don’t see a video on redoing a dining room chair and I’d like to see what options there are for replacing the “guts”. I just reached around and felt under my seat, it would appear that my chairs don’t have a wood bottom 😳🧐. Also how about a video on patio furniture. Just as a note I’m 23 female from up north (U.S) your videos are seen so keep them up.

I am curious if you clients feel the new foam instead of the poly is too firm. It does look good and helps build the structure but seems to change the firmness considerably

Hi Carla! Our customer loved them! Super soft cushion is designed for back cushions and is soft but holds its shape more consistently and doesn’t sink! It can only be used when the back cushions have borders.

I had this same problem and an upholsterer replaced the channeled poly with foam. We didn't like them...too firm. I'm glad I asked the upholsterer to save the old stuff. We put them back in and now I'm just in the process of adding new poly.

Hi Scott, I've a leather couch with one of the back cushions sagging and unfortunately they're attached (non-removable). Any recommendations/tips how to access and replace the worn foam or whatever it's inside?

Hi Scott thanks for this lovely video. I wanted a firm back cushion to replace the pily filled ones. I got the 1827 foam and have cut it out already . I have the arch on the two side back cushions. I will ne using 2 layers of dacron wrap but have to get the stapler you mention. There are plenty of plier staplers online and also plier clipper staplers. Would it be possible for you to maybe send a link here ? Thanks a ton!
