As japanese, I’m offended by this one is called Katsu curry. We never ever put coconut milk into curry sauce. That makes curry sauce tastes extremely different from Japanese one. I would be fine if it was introduced as chicken cutlet curry.

Just made this, it's now like crack in our house! I did mess up by mistakenly using tbsp flour instead of teaspoons. I also forgot to add the coconut milk and had to add it near the end and mix well.

“Heat up 1 tablespoon of bran oil” cuts to a pan with a basically a pint in there…
@robbo19114 жыл бұрын
That’s more than 1 tablespoon of oil he’s cooking with haha

It would be nice if Gok Wan used a "no food waste" cooking approach that both Jamie or Gordon use. If you notice, after Gok Wan is done, there are partially used ingredients as leftovers from an excess of leftover sauce to a partially grated apple.

@@animejanai4657 That was not the intention of this video. And why make assumptions, maybe he eat the rest of the apply later, ot did u want to see that as well. lol. So picky.

What happened to the carrot - was that left in the sauce or removed somehow after letting it infuse?

Uncle Roger pretty much only criticizes and Gok Wan is already known for a positive presentation attitude. Having Roger do a teardown of a positive mood show is actually not a happy or fun thing to see.
