everything went alright but it's not giving any response after taking input in terminal.

Could you please share the error that you’re getting? I think it must have something to do with package installation. Try running “pip install google-generativeai” in the terminal, and then run your python code.

it says no module found named 'google' and after installing the package 'google' the error is still there
