HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN VOICE-OVER DEMO REEL| STEP BY STEP SHARE SCREEN GUIDE

Is it possible for you to make your own voce-over demo reel? Yes, it is!
In this video, that's exactly what we are going to talk about! But first, what is a voice-over demo reel? It is a short audio clip that showcases the capabilities of a voice-over artist, much like a resume. The term "demo reel" comes from the days of analog recording, where original recordings were stored on circular reels of magnetic tape. However, voice-over demos can now be recorded on computers using software like Audacity and saved as a digital file.
Now, let me answer one question first. Is it a good idea to make a demo reel on your own? For new and aspiring voice-over artists who are starting out with entry-level jobs found on freelance sites like Fiverr or Upwork, yes, creating a DIY demo reel is a good idea. However, if I do not advise sending it to talent agencies or pay-to-play sites, unless it meets professional standards.
In this video, it's all about your Do-It-Yourself demo reel and I will give useful information, practical advice and actually show you how to do it by sharing my screen with you.

Any advice out there on editing the spaces or “transitions”in between phrases? your audio how to make audio crisp and clear between each pause before your next phrase ? Kind of hard to explain hope this makes sense .

There are requirements for acting in the industry but the approach might be different than theater. You can maybe put one line in there and then find scripts of all commercials you can read.
