How to Memorize Formulas | CFA Formula Memorization Strategy

This is the formula memorization strategy that I used to pass the CFA exams. This strategy will work for any academic program that requires you to memorize all of the formulas. If you follow these steps and memorize the formulas, you will have a much better chance at passing the CFA exams. I have made mention to learning the formulas in some of my other videos but never specifically about the tips and tricks I use to memorize all of them.

5:36 When you are writing the Formula down 20 times. Are you copying and pasting by hand, or at some point (Like Rewriting #12) are you writing the formula down by memory? When do you go from looking at a print of the formula to using your brain to write it down? 5:03

You can only take level 1 while not yet having a degree I believe.

Don't know if you still monitor this. But I'm a month in to studying for Level 1. I'm sitting in August. Do you have a video where you explain how to apply the memorized formulas to the exam questions? Or is this something that just comes intuitively from studying where you are expected to recognize the formula/concept they are testing?

I think once you memorize a formula, you will recognize where it needs to be used intuitively when you read a question.

If you put in the hours, you can pass L1 with just the CFA curriculum. But MM can help speed your learning process up.
