How to modify fsia6b receiver to get battery voltage telemetry

Hello friends today in this video i have shown how to modify flysky fsia6b receiver to get battery voltage telemetry on the transmitter. Normally the receiver voltage shown on the fs-i6 transmitter is the BEC voltage we feed to the receiver. Which is useless as we all know the voltage of a BEC which connected to receiver. But with this modification we can get real-time battery voltage in our transmitter. It will be very helpful if you don't use any external telemetry device.
Please take help from a skilled person if you have bad soldering skill.

Nice info , but I think we get flysky voltage sensor which can connect to ibus sensor port directly on FSIA6B

Do you know if there is any way to turn of the Voltage Alarm? Because when I have my motor on - full throttle the voltage drops down quiet drastically - so low - that the alarm goes off. But I want to keep the high- low-voltage settings so that there I can keep the beautiful battery animation at the top right corner of the display. Besides that: Thank you for the video was a great help and works flawlessly!

What parameters to set on the transmitter for the 11.1V battery? How much for low, high and for alarm? The alarm rings even at full battery.

is putting wire from charging plug actually putting any extra volts into the reciever , i did this mod and just removed the power cable from my ppm cable and just ran the wire to the charge plug on the single cell , therefore i can use low voltage alarm on my remote , so thats only putting up to 4volts into the reciever , not the 12.6 you are ,,, also the cut and wire mod from the resistor to the cut pin , what is that actually doing as i never did it that way... thanks

The specification shows 4.2 to 6.5v max, but 11v battery can be used?

Bhai mere pas ek transmeter hai jisme 16mhz crystal laga huaa hai jo programmable nahi hai. Ye kis resiver ke sath binde karega.

Hello there, I'm trying to replicate the mod, so far I have made the cuts for the pin, in the front side, and in the back. But when I measure with the voltmeter I still have continuity, I scraped all that I believe makes the connection to the other pins in line but looks like It's still connected to the others. My board is like your brown color and not green as I see in some others videos posts, is that make any difference? I should do something else for this model/version board for the mod to work?

I think I have the same board as you, at the reverse of the pin, cut right into the corner on both the vertical & horizontal board. When i worked this out it cut continuity for me.

Hello, do you know what is lowest voltage and highest can be monitored? I plan to use 6S LiPo and want to keep up with voltage monitoring, will it work? Thank you in advance

It's just simple, whatever battery you use just use 3s to the receiver, you can easily get it from your battery's charging connector. Hope you understand.

don't do it and i did and a ton of headaches. I just made a 4 AA together at 5.7 volts and got it bonded with a Flysky 16X.-1a6b
