Yes. My hair stays moisturised because I moisturise everyday anyways. Yes. I do plan to take it down at 1 Month because I do not like keeping my hair in box braids for long otherwise it would be difficult and delicate to take down.

Great video except I rather add an inexpensive lightweight African Pride to my hair under the braids to avoid extreme dryness resulting into breakage during & after take down esp if your braids were in for 2mos. I can't imagine leaving it without moisture sis.

Sis, the max I can leave my hair in these braids is 1 month. I never exceed that time period. I double moisturize and seal my hair with grease before I put these braids in. I can’t afford not to moisturize with or without braids in. I think I shared how I prepare my hair for braids extension. Check that video out. Thank you for your feedback

the best one I have tried is Shescentit moisturizing yogurt and I use hemp grease to seal it in

Have any of you ladies tried the rice water recipe? It does moisturize as well as reduce shedding. Try it if you haven't yet.
