This was very helpful on the basics of what's wires to connect up to the pro link cable. I tried my ass off to get the wideband to log using the serial input. For the life of me, I simply could not make it work. Totally sucked balls. I didn't want to have to spend $250 to be able to data log the wideband in the HP tuners scanner software. Although, I've talked with many guys that had ran into the same issues I did, and they ended up trying higher quality DB9 rs232 adapters and USB-serial cables. They believe that's been the problem. The cheap Chinese hardware adapters are junk. They're probably right, but it's too late lol. I spent the extra money and got the pro features set. I've got more options now though to. I have no experience with the can bus system and unable to answer that. But I’m sure different tuners have their method/what they’re comfortable with

My next question is how do you data log 2 wide bands on ho tuners? The same ones 30-0300

Yeah I would just map the same PID, run the individual wiring from the gage running to 2 separate prolink and so it that way. Why you running 2? One for each bank?

I got it figured out from your video and one other video I watched to set up the PID to work on the scanner so now it shows on my logs. I connected the CAN H and the CAN L as well even though I probably didn’t need them. Thank you!

I too can not get it to add to my scanner lol I got mpvi3 and I got it to my watch list but when I start the scan it disappears from the list Spent all day today trying different ways of adding it lol

Did you buy the hp pro link features off hp tuners? Only way to use pro link cable is to buy it off hp for friggen 250.

The MPVI2 utilizes the prolink to reflect AFR on the VCM scanner. You have to connect the wires from the pro link to the wires coming from the wideband gage. Yes shoot me your email or social media and I can contact you that way.
