the dark outline gives the scene a stain glass window effect, I shall be starting this later on today on a painters canvas, fingersX it works out

Do you have to use linen or calico as backing , I have got felt sheets …not started anything yet but will need to order some if it’s better…..thanks for cheering up a dull day.

Hi and thanks for watching. Felt sheets work well. They don't have to be 100% wool either, as long as they have some wool content. 😊

Just a question on this Sandy. You mentioned that you were felting this lovely project onto linen. In your opinion, is it best to work with linen as opposed to felt sheets? Happy bank holiday Monday. 💕💕

Sorry I missed this. It all depends on the project. It works really well for this project as it keeps its shape and stays flat where you need it to. Flat wool felt would also work really well. 😊
