Kids shows have the ability appeal not just to kids but adults as well, they are usually made by a team of people who care about the media and want to make something good with it henceforth they sneak in a couple adult jokes so that older audiences can laugh or young ones can come back years later and laugh. Adult comedies aren't always like that, with a few exceptions, most adult animated shows are made by people who hate animation or just are blatantly immature.

The main problem I see with political comedies- both left and right- is that it's too focused on making its own politics shine that it forgets everything else. To make a good politically-based show, comedy or not, without making an audience groan, requires a level of writing that 99% of shows like these lack. I don't know if this was mentioned in the video or not, I just started the video XD.

I'm with you there. Political comedies just suck in general, pretty much because they are WAY too preachy to the audience. And the jokes behind these shows on both sides just come off as spiteful "we good, they bad", instead of just a light-hearted jab at someone. It's just sad that "adult" cartoon shows write in an ironically juvenile way compared to shows made for kids and teens when it comes to jokes.

My man, your after watching everything on your channel, I can say confidently that your videos are of superb quality and thoughtfulness, and your humor is *so* genuinely funny to me. KZbinrs are always asking you to "subscribe and hit that bell icon," but I (and I'm sure most people) don't ever do that. On this video, the first time I ever watched anything from you, I both subscribed and turned on notifications. I went through and checked, and from my list of HUNDREDS of subscriptions, I only have 5 channels now where I get all notifications. Your animation, attention to detail, gags, and actual content are amazing, and I can't wait to see more from you.

This is a great video! I have never seen a drawn commentary video where they actually take the time and effort to animate their character! The passion you put behind your videos is inspiring!

I love how your character is actually animated and not just a png like other cartoon reviewers. I know it takes longer, but the result is incredible. Keep up the good work.

when i first clicked on this, i was assuming that it would just be another 'republican bad so thing associated is bad' but i gotta hand it to you man, this was done super well and in a very not-political way. You manage to stay 100% neutral and ONLY talk about what is actually wrong with the storytelling, comedy, and style of the show, and i really appreciate that. its nice to see someone who isnt so intent on divisiveness like so many people are today. great video!
