Love Benjamin Moore paint, much better than other brands. Beautiful colors and wears much better than alternative brands. Thanks for the tips and for clear instructions. The hint about keeping from bending and stooping will help me immensely.

That brush is way too small to cut a ceiling. It doesn't hold enough paint. Try a 3 " straight edge brush.

If you look at 8:26 you'll see that I say people will have different opinions and that I'm offering you mine. If it's to small for you then great that you found one that works. That's what this is all about. I've been doing it for over 22 years now and because of the miles and miles of cutting my hand fatigues so I've gone to a smaller brush and have learnt how to use my left hand as well..Keep on cutting.... :)

@@andyarts8382 I get it, easier on the hand. I had that same thought before I switched to the bigger flat brush. I found with the smaller angled one, it didn't cover as well, and I had less control. I had to take more time filling in voids, so didn't really save on the hand or on time. I can do one coat with the bigger brush more accurately and do an entire wall in half the time. But up to you.

thanks Andy, but I have a problem when I mix between cutting in using a brush and the rest of the wall using a roller. always there is a difference. do you know a trick to make the mixing more homogeneous?
@andyarts83826 жыл бұрын
Hey Tamer, thanks for checking out the video. Simply answer is the there will always be a different look. Reason is that with the roller you're creating a stipple affect and a brush leaves a brush look. The best way to get rid of that or have it look less of a difference is that you use an expensive brush (leaves less of a brush stroke) and don't use cheap paint. The sleeves that I use are 13mm sometimes even 10mm. Hope this helps...

hi Andy , loved the video have you ever heard of putting holes in the rim of paint cans to keep it from dripping down sides? And also adding a small amount of water to leftover paint to keep it fresh?
@andyarts83825 жыл бұрын
@@glorianoble4086 Yes I have heard of people doing that. Can't say that i've ever done it though. For the holes over time they still will get plugged unless you're super aware of how you're wiping your brush. As for the water there's really no need to put water in it to keep it fresh. Thanks for the questions.
