Thank you Paul. I see that issue a lot with the new painters and I guess it's one of the dangers of working off a tutorial. They feel they have to reproduce it exactly and they have somehow failed if they don't. Imagine how boring the world would be if everyone's art was the same? A little while back I saw someone post a painting on your Facebook group they had literally pulled out of the trash.. and it was amazing, I would have hung it on my wall. I honestly preferred it to the original (no offense intended, and the original was just a monochrome sketch) it was more abstract , had a ton of movement and life, and a wonderful use of color creating beautiful depth. The magic ingredient in art is what each person puts into it that no one else can.

As Betty says, you’re such a selfless and generous genius teacher and so encouraging. The gallery at the end was unexpected but one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Every single painting is totally fantastic, they’re all as good as each other with something unique and special to express. Such an art brain food experience. Mr. Clark what a wonderful scene, and excellent execution and explanation on the process... I have been following you in your KZbin channel for quite a while now. I study art back in the 70's but after a long time dealing with oils and acrylics, I decide to experiment in watercolors since 2009, and what a journey it have been. Basically I had to retrain my brain and hands to the watercolors, and with the help of videos like yours in KZbin I have been improving myself... I am 62 now and still in a learning process, I think that we stop learning the day we die... (If so!!!!!). But really want to express my gratitude to your time and efforts in placing your videos for people like me in this media.... and like a good old timer artist used to say: "Happy Paintings".... also I remember he said: "No mistakes in painting, just happy accidents!!!!!"

I love these beach huts!! You can just smell the ocean and feel the breeze on your face and hear the sounds of seagulls overhead and suddenly all your cares just melt away in anticipation of the day. Makes me think of mudeford beach back home. Do miss being by the sea up here in London. Home is Christchurch in Dorset. Hoping to get some nice paintings down there at the end of the month.

WOW! I fell in love with this beach hut scene at dawn and could just picture myself there (I wish!). Paul, your painting was outstanding and I love your matching t-shirt LOL. It was SO much fun to see everyone’s ‘take’ on the same scene as well as the different choices of colour and perspective. The talent out there is almost overwhelming!
