Good tutorial! I never eat the poo vein, but I always make sure to eat the "backstrap", or little strip of meat that covers the vein. I saw that you discarded it and so does my hubby - he just pulls it all off and throws it away, but that part is just meat. I really appreciate your bag trick and the idea of freezing the tails in case trash day is a ways off! By the way, I know you know, but for others: if you're just peeling and not eating the crawfish or you don't suck the heads, make sure to save the shells to make a flavorful stock for bisque, ettouffé, gumbo or whatever other creations it might be good in! This is a good topic for people like me who don't want to look stupid asking people like you or T-roy (or Rus) how to eat crawfish when I get invited over for that express purpose. lol. Good video, Alex.

I married a cajun from Zwolie Louisiana and I'm from Arkansas I'm going to my first crawfish boil figured I needed to know how to peel them or the inlaws will laugh at the Arkansas Hillbilly 😅
