In my family, onions are sliced and sun-dried for 2 days or until they lose 90% water content. Thereafter, all you need to do is hold some onion slices in a colander and dip them in oil ! 10 secs and the onion is fried - all even and all oil free !

This was wonderful. We use it very often in our fried rice and Malabar birayani. Some of us slice them dry it in the sun for a day. Then by night we fry it. Less oil is used. Especially storing was absolutely amazing. Thanks a lot.

We use to add some salt with sliced onion,then all water ll come out from onion slices,and need to squeeze the rest of water from onion slices ,then ready to fry all the onion slices,this process quite nice for saving our time....try your best
