My initial experiences of trying to date women in Indonesia was very difficult. It's not as if they didn't want to hook up, but they felt the pressure of their culture and religion bearing down on them and it led into a bunch of frustrating situations. The major problem being the "bule" target on my head and the woman's drive to try and change my religion and get married before getting to any of the fun stuff. They're so family oriented that they want to make you part of the family - but I was after fun and not a new family. In the end I just had to put my foot down and tell them that I wasn't interested in religion or getting married, which made a few girls who were seemingly really into me to run away - made even harder by the fact that they were being really nice to me up until that point. In the end I learnt that it's just to be upfront, honest, and direct about what you want from the very start so they don't build their marriage hopes up and you get to the point as soon as possible - and that's the most respectful thing to do.... and if possible - meet them anywhere but in their home country where the social pressure isn't there. Like any woman, if they want you enough, they'll find a way to make all their society's rules "not count"

They don't really care if you are not Muslim because when you marry them you have to convert anyway, by law 😂. (But just on paper 😉). Yeah, all cards on the table and communicate your intentions clearly to the women!

@@MinimalistNomad Yes you have to be upfront and to the point. Indonesian women are mostly passive so you'll need to make all the moves, but they're usually open to them when you go for it. I'll also point out that Bali has been a great "neutral ground" in Indonesia given it's tourist credentials. As with many tourist traps, what happens on tour stays on tour - especially in enclosed hotels - and hence there's not much social pressure there either (also for White western women who love going there for the beach boys!). Also worth mentioning that the far eastern islands of Indonesia are majority Christian, so sexual taboos common across Indonesia don't really apply to the extent that they do over there. The islands out there are often ignored by tourists - but if you're looking for nice women it's an absolute goldmine you'll have mostly all to yourself.

@@HR_8035_YEA Best places in Sulawesi would be North Sulawesi (Manado) and Tanah Toraja. Toraja is particularly interesting and has a unique culture. After Bali, one of my favourite places in Indonesia.

Hey Man , thank you for these great videos. I met my LDR Indonesian girlfriend at a nightclub in bali. One thing I remember she told me that made her even more attracted to me was that I did not try to pick her up or anything like that I just played it cool and relaxed. Have you checked "The Weather Channel"? This is what I do to get information on the weather. But I would assume that Nha Trang is dryer than Da Nang during this time of the year. But I remember being in Nha Trang in December 2022 to January 2023 and it was cool and sometimes rainy as well.

That was the time when I was still going to the clubs. Now I use different tactics and approaches. Online dating sites can be an alternative in Indonesia. They aren't riddled with scammers as much as in the Philippines it seems. You want to be alert although!

But then, they met again in a Catholic Church, after the English service... So they exchanged numbers... Now they are very happy with 3 beautiful children, who live in US.
