How can I get it to play my sub if I have the rcas used for the amp?

The Pioneer DEH-S1200UB is an entry level receiver with only one pair of RCA outputs for operating external amplifiers. Many other Pioneer receivers have 2 or 3 pairs of RCA outputs to make it easier to operate and control multiple external amplifiers. You can see one example here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fHPGnGh4m6ihjqc There are a few different ways to work around the one pair of RCA output problem. All of these ideas will work. Each has good and bad parts of it's operation. 1. Use the receiver's internal amplifier to operate your front and rear speakers, and use the RCA outputs to run a subwoofer amplifier. You can learn about connecting your vehicle's speakers to the receiver in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYOVfoJooNx5q8k 2. Use an RCA splitter or "Y" adapter to split the RCA outputs into more than one connection. Your amplifiers will need to have crossovers for this to work. 3. Use an amplifier that has RCA input and RCA output as seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e165k4h4dqyqd6s You can use an amp like this to send RCA output to a 2nd amp. 4. Use a 5 channel amplifier as seen here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2qrl6CZbbarjMU This amp can run 2 speakers in the front, 2 speakers in the back, and a subwoofer. @@exi9164 On the DEH-S1200UB be sure to switch the HPF or High Pass Filter to OFF. You can see it in this Pioneer How To video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5aoeJ-PlNdgf6c You only have one set of RCA outputs to work with. If you are using an HPF you may be removing all of the bass frequencies from the RCA output signal. This may be the reason your subwoofer does not appear to be working. If you have the HPF set on a frequency, I recommend to switch it off and see if that solves the issue. On the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB be sure to set the RCA outputs as Full Range or REAR/REAR as shown in the video above. Additionally I recommend to contact the manufacturer of your amplifier for proper wiring and settings when using only one RCA input.

What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? The Pioneer DEH-S1200UB seen in the video above, does not have any option for wireless connectivity to a phone. @@pioneerelectronics The RCA output is connected to 4 channel amp using Y cables that go into front and rear channels on the amp. Front are component speakers but rear channel is connected to a subwoofer. So I choose Subwoofer for preout or full range since there is only one rca set. Doesn’t it make sense to choose full range(rear) ?

@@marcusaurelius2988 The Pioneer DEH-S1200UB has one pair of RCA audio outputs. They can be setup as Full Range or as Subwoofer output RCA. For your application, I recommend to setup the receiver's RCA outputs as Full Range Output. I don't know what amplifier you have. Please contact the amplifier manufacturer for support with the amp. Many 4 channel amplifiers don't require a splitter for 2 channel to 4 channel input. There may be a 2ch/4ch input switch on the amplifier. Many amplifiers have a crossover or HPF/LPF filter available. If possible ,I recommend to use the amplifiers HPF on the front channel for the components and the amplifiers LPF on the rear channel for your subwoofer. The answer to your question is mostly no. Please read the entire answer. The Pioneer DEH-S1200UB can work with selected Android based phones with the ARC app with a wired connection through USB. Please note the DEH-S1200UB with ARC app does not work with iPhone. Not at all. The Pioneer ARC App is compatible with selected Android phones operating the Android OS version 4.1 up to 7.1.2. The phone must also support AOA (Android Open Accessory) version 2.0. Ultimately the compatibility depends upon the individual smartphone. Please note, some Android based devices will connect via AOA 2.0 but may not work properly or emit sounds due to the phones software design regardless of the OS version. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? Many modern Pioneer receivers have built in Bluetooth and you can use the receiver's Bluetooth Audio Source to play music from your phone. If you have the Pioneer DEH-S1200UB shown in the video above, I recommend to use the AUX input for music from your phone. Press the SRC button on the receiver until you see BT in the display. Next, play some music on your phone. Raise the phone's volume playing music to about 50-75%. Then adjust the volume on the Pioneer receiver. I just purchased the DEH-S1200UB model for my 2010 chevy colorado and wired it with the GMOS-01 wiring kit and I'm getting no sound from the radio both with an aux cord or wired connection with the ARC app. My phone is a galaxy s9

@@red_stag05 I suspect your vehicle has a factory amplifier and the factory amplifier is not switching on. If the factory amp does not switch on, you'll get no sound from the receiver. You can either by-pass the factory amp or use the GMOS-04 interface as noted at the bottom of the page here: axxessinterfaces.com/product/GMOS-01 I recommend to contact Metra / Axxess for support with that product. You can find them here: axxessinterfaces.com/ The Pioneer ARC app works with selected Android based phones using Android OS version 4.1 up to 7.1.2. If you are using an OS version other than these ones the ARC app may not work.
