Nice job potting them up. Yeah Titans are hard because they're so specific. Very annoying. I've never had luck beyond two years but think if they can get past that they should get easier. I have quite the little forest of amorphs now. Different types.

@@PlantzNThings I mostly have color variants of konjacs. I really should make a video for you. Let's see. Konjacs I have normal, leo song, Gordon's gold and night stick. Bulbifer, paeonifloius, titan, maxellii and some others. Will make a video and I'll send you the link.

I've got some coming in the post, so this video is exactly what I needed!. What you are your thoughts on using terracotta pots that would dry out a lot faster than plastic.

Terra cotta is always a good choice if you find yourself a little heavy handed with the water :) For me terra cotta would dry out too fast and i would likely kill my plant..lol... but everyone is very different it might be perfect for you... give it a shot and you can always switch it up next year :) and good luck with your Amorphophallus! they are such cool plants to grow.

just purchased two different Amorphophallus...is it detrimental to repot when the leaf is present? or is it best to wait until it has died back?

Its best to wait until the plant dies back... but can be done in leaf as well if your plant refuses to go dormant....

You're going to plant it in August? How many months does it grow if you plant it now?

It just hasn't sprouted this year yet... it was planted... i dug them up to see what was going on... ideally I would have wanted them to sprout in May...lol but sometimes they do what they want.... they will be in leaf for at least 5 or 6 months give or take

When you start to see signs of life at the top of the corm.... but I usually plant them up in early spring regardless. You just need to be mindful that you don't overwater... if they aren't actively growing its easy to rot them if you keep them moist
