Hello Andy. My name is Richard Gwinn, I am totally blind and I have been listening to you for several months now and I have learned a ton. Have been learning Layla, like the way you teach, tabs and views don’t mean a thing to me, I am TOTALLY BLIND. The way you teach makes a lot of since to me, of course I have to replay parts over and over until I get it but when I finally get it it sticks with me really well. I am 64 years old and have been playing the old Martin since I was 12 years old. Never have been a really good picker just average, sure like what your doing if I had plenty dough I sure would send you a bit. I probably will send a little soon because I appreciate what you are doing, thank you very much. Keep up the good work.

@@AbelThekid851 hello Andy this is Richard here I am totally blind and I use voiceover on my iPad and my iPhone and right now I’m using my iPod but I also have an iPhone how do use voiceover to send all messages sometimes I use my Bluetooth keyboard to type in a message the message I sent earlier was sent in on a Bluetooth keyboard and that’s the way I do it, I used Broun when I went to school and her school for Yvonne and I also went to university of Alabama how do you say Broun I need to print typewriter to print up all my all my papers and things that I had to do wasn’t easy but I managed to get it done thank you very much talk to you later

@@AbelThekid851 hello this is Richard Gwinn the last message I said that I used braille, when I was in university, and it came out of Broun, so that is wrong, I’m using dictation to send this message, so it may sound kind of strange, I’m just straightening out the misinterpretation of the word brow brow is nothing like Broun, ha ha have a nice day

It is nothing short of a crime, that you don’t have more subscribers. I’ve been watching guitar tutorials for over 7 years. You are easily the best, in my opinion. Your production, to your instruction, everything is perfect. All that, and humble enough, to never show your face. Thank you so much for everything you provide, and please keep up the great work.

As you say in the companion vid to this one, the "phrasing" is really what makes this version pop. Makes me so aware of how muddy my sound is and helps me move forward. Thanks for another first class lesson.

Transforming my approach to guitar, getting back into it after some years. you've helped me bridge some knowledge. Seeing you play and explain the way you do, penny dropped for me last night, around scales and roots and chords, its like all this knowledge was there but not practically accessible, i think what happened is you bridged the practical aspect, you have a real knack for teaching guitar and playing it obviously! KUDOS. I can now bust out Layla!!

I have been very lazy with guitar, I've learned basics and improved my skills to a point where I was very comfortable with playing most chords at any rate and had a very comfortable movement all over the neck. Its been 11ish years and I don't know any songs besides a few parts in a handful. This is the type of videos that might get me to learn because it is very easy to follow and understand at my level. I honestly just been doing random chords with different strumming and just trying to random notes in a pentatonic scale and trying to try new things to be able to do simple solos.

Your lessons are really great. I am a subscriber already, I subscribed because after watching another lesson I did not want to miss out on your extremely accurate transcriptions of these classics. There are a whole lot of people out there who maybe saw a few chords and think they have it but they usually don't. You clearly put a lot of work into getting the essence of the arrangements down before you make a video. Appreciated.

Hey Andy, I've been playing for a couple years but I'm just now jumping into solos, I appreciate what alot of people do on demos here but I find yours to be most helpful. Some people waste ALOT of time like they're teaching someone who just picked up a guitar, which I'm sure is very useful for beginners. I just find yours to be cutting right to the point. I would love to hear and see some Beatles, some of their rhythms are just nuts....anyhoo I really appreciate what you're doing, keep it up bro

I think your channel is the best! For someone who is as talented as you, you are so humble and I love that.
