That comment about potential is quite accurate. It is similar to what we call in physics as potential energy. To draw a parabole to Dota imagine a bow and an arrow ready to shoot with bow's string way back and ready to release. In that MKs game when he has stun and ult, he is just like that fully drawn bow ready to shoot. Once his stun is on cd, it's like it's mid way. Potential is there but not full. Less threatening. You don't want that going against heroes you know you could fuck with.

@nathanroberts17083 жыл бұрын
@@hellshot8 i agree this session had alot of broad strokes to it but bsj went into alot of detail on why you are executing these strategies and even gave several examples of heros that come into similar situations. broad points 1. Think a few steps ahead as mentioned around 30 seconds. 2. Know when you are at advantage or disadvantage and punish enemey when at advantage or mitigate damage when at disadvantage. Think outside of the box to solve solutions instead of just accepting that you have to take a lesser option. Have a lower smurf account to practice on ( i admit i am not dedicated enough to do this ) Force reactions from the enemy whether they are small reactions from a am / alch or larger ones from a more threatening carry early . Tons more broad advice given as well but i feel i have wrote more then I originally planned.

i mean im playing to win but im not really having fun against people that are too bad i dont play actively at all, playing once or twice a week and going up slowly because its boring and almost everyone tilts easily too so even if im owning its not fun, messing around with items used to be one of these things i used to do but if i want to do that i just go techies and for some reason i have a decent winrate with that stupid hero lol helps to tilt people real quick and at least ill keep playing casually til 7k~ then see if people are more skilled there because i see almost no difference between top 1k+ immortal towards divine 3-5

Noob question. When in teamfights do you press a button to attack or just right click? and in the fog of war if youre chasing someone do you right click or press a button?
@wallthemart3 жыл бұрын
in teamfights usually just right click but im not too sure about the pros. if chasing in fog, definitely use A click. i have it on quick attack and smart attack so i just have to spam a in the fog and my hero automatically runs and attacks the moment it sees an enemy. really good for disabling blink if the enemy reacts too slowly. but in most cases it doesnt make too much of a difference unless your autoattack is set to never. then i highly recommend getting used to using A click alot

you want to get away with maxing w asap. getting to the W damage talent asap. if farming real quick and all over the map safely using trees nonstop, then i think maelstrom aghs into bkb into abyssal and whatever you need after that. even in bad lanes i came back after the bkb aghs. its strong as fuck. the ult is like an ult from an offlaner but you also have your own offlaner and it makes your teamfights strong as hell. you can go battle fury in place of maelstrom but imo the hero misses some early opportunities if u go bf

Am I correct? 22 minutes, discussing acid on creeps - I would as well argue, that he is going to have double wave (from small camp pull), so it actually makes sense to keep the creeps higher, so he is not pushing right away from his tower, so he will be exposed or forced to jungle once it pushes into enemies (together with lacking mana and CD for next wave)... You're missing the point... Yes, some people smurf to be trolls and roflstomp us noobs in weird ways, but what BSJ and other high level players do is different. They use their smurfs to practice different heroes/roles and genuinely try their best to win those games by playing normal dota. At that point their "smurf" has an accurate MMR for the heroes/roles they play, so they're not ruining anything for anyone.

the cooldown timing ... visible on screen when u asked reasons why waiting to acid spray was a bad idea @ 8:30 with his medium duration cooldown he cant use it on the final wave clash too late before the wave is under the tower or he wont have cooldown, kind of the same concept with waveclear spells like kotl, have to use early in the wave. as far as linking that to getting a feed kill from him under tower, the concepts match up edit: also he is wasting mana regen because he was full mana another reason to cast sooner tho i am not an alch player
