This is amazing, can't believe how easy it was. I did not even have to do the 1st step, I just purchased from the google play store in my browser. On some parts of my Realm the PS4 can get a little laggy, on my 4 year old mac pro 2.7 Ghz Quad-core i7 16GB or RAM Radeon Pro 460 4GB. I went to the Laggy part of my Realm and turn up render distance to 20 and it was fine on a 4k monitor!

Yikes!! That happened to some of my students. Do you have an android device at all? Or an old computer? Or a friend with an old computer? Blue stacks is just a way for you to purchase Minecraft from the Google play store. You just need a way to do that and then you can use your Google login with the bedrock launcher.

If you have Google chrome, you can add the chrome extension for the google play store and buy Minecraft there. Then it will show your google account owns the license to the game. That worked for me!

Yeah. That’s a problem with newer macs. If you have an android phone, or a friend with an android. Buy it through an android device on the Google play store and then use the launcher to access your game on your Mac.

Hello! I used the Bedrock Launcher link and was able to go as far as getting in my friends realm and walk around, while it was running perfectly. Well. You can connect your Xbox account, but to play the game you have to buy it through the Google play store. That’s the version the launcher reads. After that you can login. Usually around $7 for that version.

I play bedrock because I play on my phone and it’s easier to make my own add ons. Java is written in a different computing language than bedrock, so the experience is a little different. Up to you. I have played Java too and enjoy it just as much.

@@brkieckie-dn4tu Try finding the "application support" folder in your mac, you'll see a "minecraft" folder and "worlds" folder. Find what you named your world, and drag it in to the bedrock version's worlds folder. That would be my guess.

They world is a file saved in the folders of the game. You could potentially go to your windows computer (in a folder called com.mojang) and email it to your Mac and copy it to the Mac folder. A Google search will tell you how to find the com.mojang folder.

nop cause Minecraft Bedrock Launcher devs doesn't have M1 Mac so they can't make it compatible and BlueStacks just don't have arm version. But if you have Minecraft on iOS or iPad OS you can launch it from your Mac (with controler)
