Would be nice to add a segment on what you would do to upgrade the deck/if buying multiple copies of the deck is recommended. Like in yugioh it's usually good to buy 3 copies of a starter to get 3 copies of the cover card you only get 1 copy of in each deck and to fill in holes of staple cards for said deck. Also insight on what cards from sets would work well and which cards you would replace them for in the deck would be really cool!

I’m not even joking, we were talking about this just yesterday! For sure it’s something we’ll include for future videos on this topic

I have a hard time challenging Ursula in solo with this deck. I won once on Normal but no more them that. Exerting the opposing characters only makes sense if you can challenge them the same turn. I don`t get enough characters on the board in time and I am missing some Support or Robust boosts to keep them in play. Love the Minnie/Mickey dynamic though.

I definitely feel like the regular starter decks are not well rounded enough for the Illumineer’s Quest. The ones that come with it at least have more tools to deal with her strategy. You could always upgrade the deck to help deal with her though.

I’m excited to play this deck! I’m going to change it up a little bit and try out ruby/amethyst (my current deck is a ruby/emerald deck that’s heavy on evasives thats a lot of fun to play). I’m relatively new to the game and really only get to play at my LGS a couple days a month so I’m not the greatest at playing but I always have fun. And I’ve gotten quite a few compliments on my deck from players who are a lot better than me! I had a for fun game against the guy who won the championship at our store with his ruby/amethyst deck and he said my deck made him have to think and the only reason he won was because he got one of his two Be Prepared’s and was able to wipe my board of evasives right before I would have won.

@@SebastianSawyer Evasive decks can be really tricky to beat. Great idea.

That’s soooo cool, though! It always feels amazing when a deck idea you are experimenting with, works well against other match ups. And yes: evasive can often take people on surprise and it is a great tool! Congrats!

Any suggestions on what cards I should add to make deck better like should I buy 2 starter and combine them Edit: and if so what cards should I have from both deck so its around 60
@InkbornHeroes5 ай бұрын
There are a few different strategies from this deck, so I’d say start by seeing which you find most interesting to play. From there, if you did buy a second starter decks, you could increase the quantities of those cards. For instance, I really like the Taffyta location synergy, but to make it work I’d want to increase the counts to 4 each of her and the Library. And since I like the library, I’d consider adding more cards that synergise with it like Bruni and Gale. And since it’s Amethyst I’d definitely add 4 copies of Friends on the Other Side since it’s one of the best cards in the game still. But really it’s just about finding your style and tweaking from there. And by the way, if you’re on Discord, you can hop over to ours and we have a whole section to talk deck building 😊

I played glimmer vs glimmer and my opponent had a doubt. I banished a card that was “drying” and they argued that it should be a “ready” character. I argued that the card doesn’t have specific so it’s presumed that it’s any character on your board, no mater the state of it. Do you have any insight on this situation, or card?
@InkbornHeroes5 ай бұрын
You’re correct - any abilities/effects can target any character, dry or not (unless they have something which prevents it like Ward). So Glimmer vs Glimmer could be used on a character that was just played.

My favourite is definitely this one, but it is really a tight one. So I'm happy to play both. 😂

We are actually VERY EXCITED to try them out against each other very soon! I find that these latest synergies are brilliant and it gets better and better every new set. Personally, I am more excited with Scar/Kronk's deck myself, but can't wait to try them both. Happy Questing!
