I have grown a bunch of Wasabi in my creek. It's OK but I prefer the head kick of horseradish. They are closely related plants with horseradish being very easy to grow. Wasabi is easy to grow if you have the exact conditions the plant requires, but if you do, Wasabi is really an easy plant to reproduce, very, very tough when it come to transplanting, just slam it in and it will grow, slowly, even under the best of conditions.
