I wrapped my dumplings and stored in freezer just like you showed. They thawed perfectly and tasted just as good when I first made them. I steamed to reheat as you suggested and they were great!!! I love this recipe!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I never feel like making just one batch of dumplings, because it's laborious. But I so much love dumplings. I never knew how to make a bigger batch and preserve it - I think I asked you about it at some point. :) This stuff is so practical and good to know!

:) My aunt in CZ makes bunch of dumplings one day and freezes them and use them as need it. I love having full freezer of dumplings as well. :)

I love your recipes! It helps me a lot to cook Czech food :D I used to live in Brno btw. I was wondering if you could cook francouzské brambory as well. I have difficulties to find the recipe in English, and Czech has different method to cook it. Dekuju

Yay, that is great to see someone else from Brno. :) Yes, I will definitely work on francouzske brambory. I love them and I do make them often. I just have to measure everything out and record it. :)

Do you slice the dumpings before you steam them (after taking it out of the freezer)

First they need to defrost. Some people slice them before freezing and steam them partly frozen. I just let the dumpling sit on the counter to thaw.

Can you store them uncooked and cook the next day ?

It wouldn’t work since the dough would keep rising.
