How to quickly restore colour to your favourite leather bag

Your favourite leather bag can be quickly rejuvenated with a coat of Easy Dye. Simply rub a few drops in with the sponge provided. The sponge has one sand paper side which is great for cleaning up the area where your hand holds the straps or handle. Blow the dust off and give 1-2 super light coats applied in a circular motion and you'll be amazed at how good it looks.

Test on a small out of sight area. Leather generally feels like it did before. 2-3 thin coats is far better than one thin coat.

What about tears in the middle of the strap could you do a video of that plus redoing the edges of the buckled straps please?

Sure, do you have a photo of these issues or a bit of video? Does depend on when we get those types of repair in and how urgent the customer needs it back. Tears in the strap we would normally 1. glue 2. reinforce behind 3. retitch the edges Redoing edges you could use lots of layers of Easy Dye or shoe paint and also add some PVA glue or Cork Renew to the mix.

No. Once dry it’s sealed. Drys in 20min.

@@Cjatt ​​⁠Depends on the job. Easydye is basically a paint and is good where you want zero colour rubbing off into clothes etc. Proper old school smelly Leather Dye is great as a base coat or where you need the colour to soak in. Can rub of on clothes is the down side.
