This is a true help, you don't know how much I tried to find something that could be added to reduce the noise - it bothers me the most in the kitchen, where the faucet is higher, so the water falls from a higher distance into an inox sink. I shall immediately try it, as soon as I find those plastic foils - they seem more resinstant, I know how they should be, I just have to find a way to procure such things ( I'm not from the US). Thank you for sharing anyway! ❤

Hi, Thank you for watching and your comment. We made a follow up video which you may like. It shows a different material for quieting the sound and it should be easily available in stores. It's much easier and faster to make. Here is the link - kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2ezfKlsosyCf7M Hope you like it!

This is so helpful, I have been searching and consulting with different people and most of them said “changing faucets MAY help”. This really is very simple and results are proven. Also, proves me normal since most thought this noice shouldn’t be a issue…lolz.If you would have add link to the plastic thing that would’ve been great.

Hi Shavzia - Thank you for watching our video and your question. We came up with a better solution on how to quiet a noisy faucet without removing anything. This quick method is very convenient especially if you rent an apartment. We made a follow up video showing the solution - it’s very easy. You don’t need to use any tape or plastic bags with this method. Here is the link - kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2ezfKlsosyCf7M Also, if you still want a link for the plastic bags, just let me know, I’ll send it to you.

Thanks for this video. It makes me realize I do not want one of those water-saving spouts on my faucet. I want one with a solid stream of water to make it quiet. Thanks

It will become quieter by removing the aerator (which is what making this noise), plastic is basically un-doing the effect of aerator.

Hi Siraj Hasan, - Thank you for your suggestion. Since we are renting an apartment we need to leave the aerator in. But this little remedy is a good way to quiet the faucet regardless. Thanks again for your input.

Thank you! This works well as a temporary solution, for example if you're renting your home and can't make changes to the plumbing. It's a specially good if you're up late and don't want to wake up others.

Or, you can partially close the shut-off to reduce flow.
@ZLhow25 жыл бұрын
Hi Randall, That does sound like a possibility. Our water flow is not too powerful to begin with. But if you have lots of water pressure, your idea could work. Thank you for watching and for your input.

@@ZLhow2 If you close down the valve it will cause a hammering noise when you turn the water on
