Don't have a lisp, but the way this is making my tongue hurt is showing me I have a very lazy tongue. And this totally helps my voice resonate better. And helps me to speak from the belly better. If I stopped cuz it hurt, I wouldn't do really any, so I'm pushing through to a certain number and I'm holding the position for longer too. Actually helping with posture too.

hi! i just clicked on this video and im about to see if this will hopefully fix my lisp. im a 13 year old student whos in 8th grade and i cannot interact with my friends because of my lisp, not only am i insecure but when i speak with my lisp i speak very slowly because i do not want to embarrass myself infront of others. i was on a school trip and at a time someone started making fun of my lisp. im so tired of getting bullied for something i cant control so i would be impressed if this would be helpful.

Oh yes, I am one of these kids. As crazy as it sounds, as a child I went to therapy and learned all the letters EXPECT for the s. How many people have pointed it out is beyond most people's imagination. Mine sounds BAD. Not even like a "th", it sounds like what you did at the beginning. The exercises look legit though, I think that by doing this I can improve a lot. Thank you for helping others out!

I started having a lisp when I was 6 it went on to middle school, and that’s when I started to notice it. Soon after I noticed that every time I would say I word with the S sound I would try fix my lisp and over time It became a habit and now I’m in highschool and no one remembers I even had a lisp lol. So just focus on whatever words trigger ur lisp and practice saying stuff, build a habit and hopefully same outcome I had happens to everyone watching this vid
