This actually happened to me recently. I met this cute girl in my class in school and she looked at me a lot and was a bit shy around me, so I approached her since I thought she was really attractive and seemed nice. We walked together to her bus and later talked while she was waiting for her bus. She seemed pretty interested in me cuz she was saying "we" and "you will see later" to me in the conversation. When her bus came she stood up and gave me a hug. The next 2 days, we went to the bus together and we both hugged each other at the end. I thought things were going well and I was planning to ask her out after a few days because I wanted to get to know her a bit first. But the next Monday we both sat and waited for the bus together again, when she suddenly just walked away to talk to her friends instead in the middle of the conversation. I thought this was weird, but I didn't chase her. When we boarded the bus, I asked if she got hot before (it was actually quite hot where we were sitting) just to get her to say something. She just replied with a "yes, it's so hot outside today". On the bus she just sat with her friends and didn't pay any attention to me at all. She actually didn't even get off at her usual stop. In school the next day, she ignored me and didn't even look at me. I did not give her attention either to show her that I'm not desperate for her attention. I think she might have done this because I didn't really tease or compliment her that much (I didn't find an appropriate time to do so, and I was pretty dumb because I was afraid she might think I'm weird, even though I clearly saw how interested she was). I would like you guys feedback if this was my fault because I didn't show enough interest in her (I always held eye-contact with her when she was talking and always listened to her, sat close to her. I however did not touch her in intimate ways. I really wanted and probably should have, but I didn't get any good opportunity to do so and was afraid of rejection) or if she just lost interest when she started to get to know me.

It was because I never asked her out after talking for 3 days and because I sat shoulder to shoulder with her close to her friends so she probably felt pressured. Also, after a month or so, she looked to be even more attracted to me and gave me lots of looks and puppy eyes when making eye-contact. I reached out a week later, but f:ed up quite badly because I showed way too much interest over text and asked her out in a not so confident way. The moral of my story is: Don't care too much about her pulling away since that will make you even more emotionally invested in her and that will lead you to make so many unnecessary mistakes with her if she actually comes back around like I did. Also, the main reason you think she pulled away is probably not the real reason it happened. I was overthinking alot and came to the conclusion that I showed too little interest... I just wasn't man enough to ask her out earlier and was too close for her comfort too early on.

Having your fitness on point is important but not crucial. Women are way less visual than we are, so you being fit will definitely help, but in and of itself it doesn't do much more than get your foot in the door. If you're still acting beta she doesn't care how ripped you look. Women care about how they FEEL about you. The way I re-attracted my woman was by being asked to join a band; I sing and play guitar. So when my woman saw me on stage and getting tons of interest from other women, she went from being a disinterested maybe 5/10 on the attraction scale to sucking the soul out of me the moment we got home after the gig.
