3:52 If you add &league=y to the URL bar you can filter for only Global League games. In general aggressive COs like Max and Kindle will have inflated win rates whereas more complicated and tricky COs like Sonja and Sami will have deflated win rates. I'd estimate (and this is purely on gut) that the average MMR the CO win rate stats reflect is around 1050. If you're at or below that, stick to the win rate numbers, but if you're looking to climb higher start talking with other players about the COs and theorycrafting yourself. A particularly egregious example is kindle having a close to 60% winrate on 1v1 Normandie when I am adamant that within Tier 3 she's one of the worst COs you can play. 5:52 Be forewarned, I've been mixing up my openings to be less predictable and both Kantbei and I have been doing some weird stuff lately in our games, our openings will not always be sound, but you're welcome to ping us on the discord for more in depth explanations. I think the biggest thing that holds me back is how much of a commitment one of these games are. I don't think I will start another one.

I believe that I've seen some players counter those last two concepts simply by ignoring what seems like a scary unit and taking good engagements despite the danger. A powerful unit like a medium tank will first strike a regular tank very effectively, but a single unit can still only attack once per turn, and might not be worth sacrificing an otherwise advantageous area. Especially if keeping it tied up a couple of turns can lead to it being hard-countered with an approaching unit of your own.

Hi Deejus, interesting video as always ! I would have liked that you expand further on COs matchup and counters as these are stats that we can not see on the website. Sometimes I know what my opponent will pick, but I don't know the specific counter to that CO. Maybe you could make a video on this topic ?

Good idea, I don't think there are any hard counters, but a few soft counters that I could perhaps look into

Anyway, maybe review them one at a time (like you do for matches, but do so for matchups) and state the best co's and their counters, like tank beating anti-air, anti-air beating copters and copters beating tanks. 2 birds with 1 stone! Also, i hate the voices, and that's why i love them. Keep being you 👍

At 4:08 I wonder why Sturm is classified as a tier 1 co, and not a tier 0.

Tier 0 in Standard. Tier 1 in Fog. With indirects that move smoothly over terrain, like Rockets and Missiles, his are much more viable, and he likes indirects because enemies can't counter attack (Sturm has -20% Attack in AWBW). That being said, indirects are a bit better in Std than Fog because in Standard, indirects are a better deterant because even though your opponent sees them, if defended well, they can discourage enemy units from being on an area, or attacking your other units if they are covering them. Infantry walls are easier to set up in Standard because you can calculate better seeing everything, and with +20 defense on his units, his Infantry walls are very strong. In Fog, you could set up an Infantry wall but you may not see what your opponent has in the Fog that could potentially break said Infantry wall.
