Thanks Achim. I adjusted my harness according to your videos and after step by step troubleshooting and evaluation (all learned from you) why I couldn’t reach my valves, I found out it’s my drysuit and lack of mobility due to wrong sizing. I have to bite the bullet and order a new drysuit since I unfortunately didn’t think too much about twinset diving when I bought my first drysuit. An expensive lesson.

Excellent advice as always, may i ask for those who have injuries that inhibit flexibility, and it isn’t going to change what are the best options, inversion, slob knob or side mount? Some instructors are teaching that if you cant reach valves on a twin set you cant dive technical. What would you say to that idea?

Many thx, for my trimming to be perfect balance I need my tank to be as low as possible which tends to put the tank pretty low and distant to my head, should probably put it a bit higher but then tend to have my trimming to get head down balanced. Didnt see into any of your videos (and would have been nice having that into this one) the recomendation you'd give in terms of tank hight. A few centimeters make a huge difference for trimming on my side at least and dont want to add even more plumbing (Already steel backplate + 4kg pockets on tank side and 4kg on harness's belt with 7.5mm semi-dry + jacket for 12C water and wetsuit is too expensive for me).

If only all my valves were between my shoulder blades! It is of course much harder to reach to the sides. The solution for me came when I realised that when I was sitting in front of the fully assembled twinset rig I was sitting too upright as I was strapping in. And my bum to shoulder distance is quite long. Just slouching down an inch as I tightened the shoulders down and everything was suddenly easy.

All good points however, if you cant reach your valves there is another way. And that is to reversely mount your tanks so the valve are upside down and are in the small of your back. Hope it helps
