I love you say retain length. So tired of how to grow your hair longer. If it's breaking off that doesn't mean it's not growing.

These tips are solid and sooo LEGIT! I've definitely been guilty of washing my hair way too often and trying out too many hairstyles. You're so right that manipulation is the biggest cause of hair breakage! Excellent video, Michelle!

Agreed. I realized that when I got in the shower and washed every week that my shampoo INSTANTLY sudsing. Meaning not in need of shampoo. So I decided to wash every two weeks. Game changer. Along with leave in teas (Ayurvedic) and leave ins....retention became obvious and hair became more resilient. Happy Christmas to you and yours. Chloe is adorable.

I would like to wash less but my scalp screams at me often by day 4. I go to boot camp 6 days a week and live in the deep South so my head sweats a lot! That sweat that sits there makes it burn. But I do think I detangle too much! My problem is the roots to tangle again. Trying to find a better way!

Well yeah if your sweating a lot by all means wash but you can wash your scalp in braids so you don’t have to over manipulate your hair too much

Really enjoying your tips! It's hard to find natural haired youtubers. I have fine high porosity hair and am struggling to retain length. I bought a revair and am thinking of stretching it with it once a week. Do you think that will cause me hair damage? I would really appreciate your advice! Thanks again!

There are too many rules for our hair, it’s sad that you can’t touch or style it often. Hair that looks wool has to be treated like silk. I am over all the rules.
@FineNaturalHairandFaith Жыл бұрын
It is what it is. Some things work for some and others for it here. That’s why a lot of info is provided so people can choose and figure out what works for them: it isnt necessarily about rules

@@FineNaturalHairandFaith I hear the same thing over and over. Like I said I’m over the ‘don’t touch’ ‘protect’ ‘put your hair away’ I like touching my hair and I know guys like touching hair too. And I also like having the wind blow thru it. And it is ‘rules’ when you are told not do something it’s rules or an command.

@@KimKim_in_Cali I understand your frustration but remember some of these “elementary” tactics work for those who are very new to natural hair.
