Thanks, this was a saviour in getting both screen recording(video) as well as audio! Though it is taking microphone input, which causes to one to be in a silent place/room yet get a lot of like radio noise in background. Is there a way to get the audio directly from desktop source, or having the flexibility to select/deselect microphone and desktop source as Audio recording options?

You can disable/mute microphone volume .

@UniqueTutorials Does not work! 😐 Disabling or muting the mic causes no audio recording, only video. This means your method captures only microphone output as source for audio recording.

Yeah I can but you will need more, than vlc player, use obs, then play your vid, mute the sound in obs mic settings or keep it. I take it you want to talk over a vid u made?

You can try this method on other windows computer and see if the sound is also recorded along with video and try using inbuilt computer or laptop microphone or try using external microphone instead of headphone.
