you can also buy a tool for that, where you drill a small hole and screw in the rod and the rod has a weight on it that slides away from the car and hits the stop near your body and pulls out the dent and i have seen this work too, hope that helps!

Thanks so much for responding. Makes perfect sense that the wheel bearings would be an issue. I had thought about replacing all these things when i bought the car 3 years ago, but have been doing what I can being on a fixed income. Brakes and engine were first. Gotta be able to stop even more than go as far as I'm concerned. Been doing a lot of research on the hubs, I figure easier to replace whole unit as I had them off doing brakes. Looking at medium grade Centrix for about $62 each. So many to choose from and some companies just don't have the oem or reviews I like to see. But thanks so much Scotty. Kevin

A link to that little suction cup would be much appreciated. I got one at Harbor Freight this weekend that did the trick on a very large dent I had in a rear quarter panel on my truck since 2014. Hot glue and roofing nails work great! Isopropyl alcohol afterwards and the glue slides right of the nail and paint. Win me some sucking cups!
@kennethhicks2113
@kennethhicks2113 6 жыл бұрын
The hot glue is the key to this, placed exactly where and several places as needed. Gentle tug with pliers on your nail placement(s) to get dent out. Alcohol makes the glue fall right off with no paint damage.

I got pissed working on my fiance's mini cooper once, and I punched the hood and left a nice big dent. When I took it for an auto body estimate, they wanted about 400-500 bucks. I got one of those dent pullers for $10 from Autozone. I did pull the big dent out but made 5 tiny ones as a result. Being in the car business, I cringed when I saw it...but luckily the lady didn't care. lol

Thank you for all your videos. I recently bought a 2007 Charger. The engine is strong and low miles but the interior and exterior need all the help it can get. As I’ve been working on it I Check to see if you have a video. Going to try to pull dent Today, but it’s between the door and front fender so it’s not flat. Hopefully this DYI works.

I like this idea better than the suction pullers created for the job. I do have a few dents that would need, ordinarily, to have everything removed and then try to push the dents out from the inside. Thanks for making the video, it could save people a lot of money.
