you can also buy a tool for that, where you drill a small hole and screw in the rod and the rod has a weight on it that slides away from the car and hits the stop near your body and pulls out the dent and i have seen this work too, hope that helps!

Thanks so much for responding. Makes perfect sense that the wheel bearings would be an issue. I had thought about replacing all these things when i bought the car 3 years ago, but have been doing what I can being on a fixed income. Brakes and engine were first. Gotta be able to stop even more than go as far as I'm concerned. Been doing a lot of research on the hubs, I figure easier to replace whole unit as I had them off doing brakes. Looking at medium grade Centrix for about $62 each. So many to choose from and some companies just don't have the oem or reviews I like to see. But thanks so much Scotty. Kevin

+Victor G I imagine this suction and hot water method would be okay on a car that already has dings and scratches. But for my personal car, I wouldn't do it, because I want perfection. Bro you're amazing, and sooo funny! I'm still working on the live free or die concept, really, we'll get there! Thank you for this video. I'm working on pulling a dented edge of a fender where the headlamp ends. So far in this aggression against my property, am walking free but the gentleman that hit two of my cars wasn't gentle with them. Ok my brother, thank you, and much success to you!!!

Scotty Kilmer drinking game: take a shot everytime Scotty - 1. mentions he's been a mechanic for over 50 years 2. praises Toyota, Honda, Ford etc. 3. tells you to find a mechanic like him who has $5000 scan tools 4. shits on modern European cars, and Chrysler. You win if you don't get alcohol poisoning I kid but I love your videos Scotty! Keep it up! :)

I like this idea better than the suction pullers created for the job. I do have a few dents that would need, ordinarily, to have everything removed and then try to push the dents out from the inside. Thanks for making the video, it could save people a lot of money.

I got pissed working on my fiance's mini cooper once, and I punched the hood and left a nice big dent. When I took it for an auto body estimate, they wanted about 400-500 bucks. I got one of those dent pullers for $10 from Autozone. I did pull the big dent out but made 5 tiny ones as a result. Being in the car business, I cringed when I saw it...but luckily the lady didn't care. lol
