I had a big stain on top of the Equinox door interier headliner where it leaked on light gray interier. I used Shout with the scrubber on it and scrubbed it away and used a steam vac for the rinse and extract part. Looks new, no stain at all

Truck door ? Only asking because my 2013 Equinox keeps doing the same thing even after we resealed everything. Can't figure out where the hell it's leaking from. 4:21 4:2l

I just had a leak issue inside my Nissan armada. Both driver and passenger side front panel near windshield has water stains. now i have to find out where its coming from. Maybe the sunroof

I employed the same technique but used laundry stain remover (Shout). It was completely removed in 10 minutes. To be fair though, I did get to the stain only a couple of days after the car leaked and it got stained.

I heard dawn dish detergent -ultra and peroxide mixed together can get water stains out.

I'm asking because safelite replaced a cracked window for me in March and now this runs across my headliner left wide front to back. They said no leaks and wouldn't do anymore with it.

I've seen better results by professionals using steam, but of course would require equipment.

Nope. Steam will "set" this stain, making it almost impossible to remove. That goes for any stained fabric. And never use a steamer on a headliner specifically. It will cause the adhesive that holds the fabric on, to loosen and eventually sag. I would say avoid using those "professionals" ....ever
