Papa cut with the euro fiber or a orange pad. It all depends how much I have to work with and how deep. I like a lot of different combinations. I learned from the best 👊🏼Thanks Brain

After getting a chance to sit in on FOUR of your Master Classes last week at the #SDC, I’m still in awe at how easily you move around the vehicle and get the results that you get!!! Glad you’re enjoying PapaCut! FAB Polish and Uro 50/50 is my sweet spot… and my barber would always say, “You can always cut more… you can’t cut less!” Thanks for the video, Sir!

Thanks again for another great video where I always learn something new. I need to get my hands on some Papa Cut and give it a try. Also, I had never seen those pads before so I will check those out. My usual go to is Koch Chemie Micro Cut, if need be fine cut or even H9.01 if the surface is in bad shape. I like to team them up with a yellow Rupes foam pad or a yellow Rupes wool pad. The last couple of cars were in good shape so my go to was Uno Advanced and a Rupes yellow pad, one time around the car and call it a day. Thanks again Brian !!

Ad quality ceramic coating and you get in the 100👍😊
@larrysing Жыл бұрын
@@kennethschei6957 Nice tip, but really, many ceramic coatings don’t actually increase gloss. Most gloss comes before from prep. A few do like Gyeon Pure, a few from Artdeshine. I’ve used several coatings on my car. The best looking combo was Meguiar’s Hybrid Paint Coating topped with Gyeon CanCoat.

How do we know if is no less clear coat, but less primer or/and less color paint due to the fact that 1. Newer car have metal alloys that needs less primer and paint according to manufacturers 2. Those ptg cannot identify the separate layer's. Thanks
@dustin3700 Жыл бұрын
Only way to know is to remove the clear and measure. I've tested sun baked vehicles with peeling clear and on a recent 06 scion xa I had readings from .09-1.8 and with clear it was 2.1-3.7.
@apexdetail85 Жыл бұрын
As mentioned ....measure what you are removing. Only a Defelsko (expensive) meter can measure layers.

Not sure why you would go from a very light white foam finishing pad all the way to microfiber, could have tried out medium cut foam then wool, if that microfiber isnt a one step pad then there is def haze left over.

3d speed is a medium to fine polish with synthetic paint sealant blended with Montan Wax. 3d one is a hybrid polish where you can decide from the roughness of the pad etc etc, are you looking for a one step with protection go get 3d speed one of the best yes 😊👍
