I hear you on that just make sure to let the car sit for 30 mins after disconnecting the battery otherwise the airbags might surprise you 😊

No didn't both as the carpet is exactly the same carpet just got it professionally cleaned and dried for twenty quid the only thing I changed was the damp form underneath just got some new form and the reinstalled the carpet

Awesome. I cut a hole with my heal and started to get clogged lungs from debris that would get soaked underneath the carpet was soooo much mud. (I go to the park with my dog alot) I started cutting out the carpet when i realized i should remove tbe entire carpet 😂

Bless you that sounds awful that foam is not great splits into a thousand pieces if cut it I'm glad you realised before you covered the whole car in debris by cutting the carpet out

Your going to do a great job disconnect the battery and then let the car sit for 30+ minutes and then disconnection the seats and go from there 👌

Thanks for that, but is there a part 2 or something? I wanted to know what is the material underneath the carpet? My daughter spilled milk on the carpet, and the valet couldn’t get rid of the smell. Does the ‘carpet underlay’ absorb liquids, or is it water-proof and the liquid stays there? Thanks.

Yes it's basically a sponge I had mould on mine because liquid got into the car and I had to replace that foam and get the carpet cleaned and dried while out of the car

no it won't rust the metal you'd have to have spilled a lot of coke on it and for it to be damp for ages

Is it bad to leave the interior folded when taken out? Just pulled mine out in a 2004 hyundai to deep clean it but the steam cleaner isnt gonna arrive on time now and my whole car is apart and i dont have a place to store it flat other than in the car itself. lol hope you still check these thanks.

Hi, my smart car for two brake rubber concertina thing has detached from floor carpet. It's a 2011 model, can't find anything in the manual 😢 Is there any way to re-attach it without removing carpets and seats. The brake seems fine, just the plastic oval on the base of the brake pedal rubber bellows knocks and is annoying 😢
